Director: Craig Moss

Synopsis: Follows Andy, who needs to hook up with a hottie, pronto, because he hasn’t had sex in… well, forever – and his luck isn’t the only thing that’s hard.

Spoof movies are rarely consistently funny, but this sorry parody of Judd Apatow comedies is completely devoid of laughs. In fact, all it provoked were a few grimaces and a whole load of yawns. Bryan Callen plays the eponymous hapless virgin who can’t seem to get a woman to sleep with him, even though most of them seem to be throwing themselves at his feet. He lives with some teens – who all resemble the kids from Superbad – and a Seth Rogen soundalike who is perhaps also supposed to be a lookalike. For most of the movie, they all go off on their various escapades, with Callen’s story taking centre stage. There’s really not a lot else to say about this mess – all the adjectives that might come to mind are already liberally scattered across other internet reviews. Just take note of what all those unhappy reviewers are saying and steer well clear.
